55 Skyview Drive

We zipped over to Greenland to shoot this fantastic property over on Skyview Drive for Selling the Seacoast, Emil Uliano of Great Island Realty. Having family who already live in this neighborhood, I was no stranger to its beautiful craftsman style homes, and the rolling green spaces between them. Quintessential Greenland, really. I was instantly enamored with the floor plan, the master bed/bath (seriously gorgeous), and the quality of the build-ins throughout the home, but that basement gym is what sold me. We all like how we feel AFTER we've gone to the gym, but I'm convinced nobody actually enjoys a crowded, post-new-years public gym. Imagine being able to do all of that sweating and self-betterment in the privacy of your own home? For me, that alone is easily worth the price of admission.

The Amato Residence

This is easily one of the top two videos I’ve been lucky enough to produce in 2018, if not my absolute favorite (I’m still torn between this one and the work I did at Tidewater Farm Road). A KFAerial gift certificate was purchased by Farm & Barns Real Estate, and given to their clients the Amatos as a gift when they moved to this outstanding property in Milton. The way the golden morning sun was hitting the structures just right, and bathing the late autumn foliage surrounding the location was more than any one filming could ask for.

54 Chestnut Hill Road

We took a quick jaunt over to Amherst, New Hampshire the other day to document a stunning property named Kindred Spirit Farm that has everything a New England equestrian could ever want or need. We’d tell you more about the location, but just one look at those happy horses’ faces is worth a million words.

Kearsarge Meadows

We shot over to Warner, New Hampshire this morning so Larry could brave the whipping winds and shoot the preposterously gorgeous Kearsarge Meadows, a sprawling horse farm at the base of Kearsarge Mountain. The horses were happy to see us, and the foliage was positively on fire. These are easily some of the best views I've ever experienced at a real estate listing. You almost expect to see a couple of those quarter-slot binoculars in the backyard. I mean, wow.

25 Falls Way

Most people will tell you if you want to be near Portsmouth but you still want a big yard, you should focus your sights on Greenland. This property at 25 Falls Way illustrates that advice perfectly with it's sprawling lot size and attention to landscaping detail. Also, the 3,266 square foot 4 bedroom/3 bathroom house itself is, as the kids these days like to say, "so lit, fam".

3 Long Meadow Drive

The illustrious Amy Turner Carr, Realtor ~ Great Island Realty, LLC and Crystal Ducharme - Great Island Realty brought us over to 3 Long Meadow Drive in Berwick, ME for a fun shoot at this absolutely killer property. It's the kind of house that's so well planned that it actually dictates to you what your plans are going to be for the day. The expansive kitchen makes you want to experiment with some fun recipes for the family, the cozy master bedroom makes you want to nap for an hour (or three), and the entertainer's paradise of a backyard makes you want to crack open a cold beer and wait for the stars to blink awake in the summer sky. Whoever snatches this place up is going to be very lucky, and they better invite me over.

78 Tighe Farm Road

One of the biggest reasons we love New Hampshire is its history. Being one of the oldest states in the union, it's home to a rich and genuinely interesting backstory that we as New Englanders are lucky to enjoy, and sometimes take for granted because we're constantly surrounded by it; kind of like how you can pass a Dunkin Donuts and not even blink because you just drove past eleven other Dunks during your two mile commute. Cricket Hill Farm is a great example of New England history that's so cool it snaps you right out of that historical apathy funk.

Built in 1775 (that's a year before the Declaration of Independence was signed, for those of you playing at home), Cricket Hill Farm sits on a sprawling 115 acres in the super fun little town of Wilton, which, coincidentally, is also home to one of the coolest little movie theaters I've ever seen (https://www.facebook.com/wiltontownhalltheatre/).

The main house has five huge fireplaces wrapped around it's massive original center chimney, which was the only source of heat in the house for a very long time. It's so old that the original home never had insulation. Previous generations of owners and house help just constantly kept the fires going! The home has since been retrofitted with all of the modern conveniences you can possibly imagine (huge windows, central air, motorized skylights, an AMAZING pool area with a cabana, etc.), and when you combine that with 243 years of fascinating, well-documented history, you get a postcard-perfect New England property that people from all over dream about owning one day, including yours truly.

49 Ledge Lane

We traveled up to Wells Beach to produce a real estate promotional video for Debbi Bozworth of Coldwell Banker Real Estate LLC. I don't know how I managed to live on the seacoast for 38 years without having visited Wells Beach, because it is an absolutely outstanding example of New England coastline. Everything is beautiful, everyone is nice, and the beaches aren't crowded at all. If the Northeast was cast in the hit 1988 movie Twins, Wells Beach would be Schwarzenegger, and the Jersey shore would be DeVito.

52 Cross Road, Mont Vernon, New Hampshire

SNEAK PEEK: Shooting 52 Cross Road in Mount Vernon for Farms & Barns Real Estate, LLC - NH's Horse & Farm Property Realtors reminded me a lot of one of those Russian nesting dolls, because there was a new surprise around every possible corner of this sprawling property. Oh look, a beautiful home. Oh look, a great barn. Oh look, an in-ground swimming pool with a dedicated pool house. Oh look, a secret little pond tucked away down a woodland path. Oh look, a huge field and SECOND barn hidden by a line of beautiful old trees. Oh look, a vending machine that sells golden retriever puppies*.

* = One of those things may or may not be true about 52 Cross Road.

11 Hartley Farm Lane, Kittery, Maine

Working with the dynamic duo Amy Turner Carr, Realtor ~ Great Island Realty, LLC and Crystal Ducharme - Great Island Realty is always a treat, and our recent visit to 11 Hartley Farm Lane in Kittery was no different.

MIKE: "Wow, look at this awesome workshop area."

CRYSTAL: "I know, right? Wouldn't you spend all of your time building things down here if this was your house?

MIKE: "In all honesty, I'd probably spend all of my time pretending I knew how to build things down here. I can barely use a hammer."

CRYSTAL: "Same."

Bye, Pease! We had fun!

We were a little sad driving away after our last morning of filming for our promotional video project for Two International Group, LLC. A lot of inhumanly early wake-up alarms, bad gas station coffee and on-the-fly logistical improvisation has gone into this effort, and we are beyond pleased with that we've been able to capture for our client during the very first drone flights Portsmouth International Airport at Pease and the Federal Aviation Administration have ever allowed. Thank you for granting KFAerial that ever-important airspace waiver, and another hearty thank you goes out to all of the tenants on the Tradeport for being patient with Larry the Drone as he buzzed around your places of business. He appreciates it, as do I.

123 Witchtrot Road, South Berwick, Maine

It's not often that we show up at a real estate video shoot and are completely surprised by what we find, but Marcia V. Giniusz - Re/Max Realty One's South Berwick listing managed to do just that when we arrived and discovered THE PLACE IS A SUPER AWESOME ALPACA FARM! Seriously, little baby alpacas trotting around all over the property. The house and land it's on is definitely amazing, but the fact that there are adorable little alpacas goofing off everywhere is the clincher. Buy the house, but make sure those fluffernutter animals get written into the deed.

44 Trask Mountain Road, Wolfeboro, New Hampshire

If you looked up "gentleman's farm" in a Google search, this video should be the very first thing that shows up in the results. Everything about this sprawling lakes region property is manicured and perfect; so much so that I would drop everything to live in this barn. I'm not joking. If I was allowed to live in this barn/gym/pool hall/bar/reproduction antique Italian wine cellar, I would. Whoever buys this house needs to call me and tell me I can sleep there.

3 Evergreen Drive, North Hampton, New Hampshire

North Hampton, New Hampshire has long been one of the places I could picture settling down in. With Rye to your left, Hampton proper to your right, and the beach right in front of you, it really is one of those equidistant seacoast gems that doesn't get nearly as much attention as it deserves. This remarkable home on Evergreen Drive that we shot with Mindy Marcouillier, Realtor Great Island Realty further proves that you can have it all in North Hampton with a stunning wrap-around porch, three bay garage, bright wood flooring, and countless design details that make you want to send an Edible Arrangement to whoever was in charge of the blueprints.

Also, we were gifted two bottles of whiskey during this shoot. We're not saying we'll take better pictures if you offer us alcoholic presents upon our arrival, but we're also not saying we won't. Hint hint. Wink wink.
